charger is working properly.
If the autark package is fitted at the factory, an AGM battery will al-
ways be installed. Generally, you will find this battery in a separate
box which, depending on the layout of your caravan, is located in
the storage space either under the seating arrangement or the bed.
AGM batteries may not be replaced with conventional wet batteries.
You can use the battery display to check the on-board battery's
charge state.
The main switch for the self-sufficient power supply / autark package
is located next to the battery display.
The main switch also activates the cutoff relay for the charging device.
The main switch must be switched on to charge the on-board battery
via a 230V external connection. The red LED must be on.

Charging is not possible when driving.
Exception: Upstream connection of an optional charge
booster.
Every battery has a self-discharge. Thus, it is important
that the battery is always fully charged before it is not
used for a longer period of time. Then disconnect
the positive pole on the battery (quick release). Not
using the battery for a longer period of time leads to
deep discharge, which could cause irreparable damage.
Always store your battery in a cool, dry place. The op-
timal temperature for storing a battery is approx. 15° C.
Check the battery voltage at least every six months and
recharge the battery if the voltage drops to below 12.6 V.
Switch off all devices and lights before you disconnect
the battery. – Smoking is absolutely forbidden when
working on the battery or if the battery container is
open.
Please also note the label on the battery container.
