Flue (model-specific)

5.2 External entry

In some models (model-specific) a roof vent ensures
that the caravan is ventilated. When operating on gas
in winter, ensure that there is no snow or ice on the
flue.
Heating element

A ventilation flap provides the heating element under the floor of
the vehicle with fresh air.
The air from the heating element is carried outside by a flue. The
flue

is located on the roof of the caravan or on the side wall.
There is danger of suffocation if flue openings are
blocked!
Therefore, do not block flue openings.
Ensure unobstructed outflow from the flue during winter
operation.
The external entry door has been designed for use in leisure vehicles.
There are two different versions:
- Caravan external entry door with hinges on the right
- Caravan external entry door with hinges on the left
The entry door is your escape route in an emergency.
Therefore, never block the door from the outside!
Only drive when the entry door is shut! Always check
that the external entry door has been correctly locked
before driving.
The inside of the entry door has been fitted out with
storage shelves. These storage shelves must never be
misused as a means of closing the door.
In some models, there may be a danger of collision when
opening the entry door if the window in the side wall is
open. If the wind is gusting. Always close the external
entry door carefully and in a controlled manner! Make
sure that no one, particularly children, is in the door's
opening area! There is a considerable risk of crushing-
type injuries!
Only use the insect screen door (model-dependent /
special accessory) when the external entry door is open!
