Measuring Tool Power Supply
The measuring tool can be operated either with conventional
non-rechargeable batteries or with a Bosch lithium-ion bat-
tery.
Article number 3 601 K83 371: The measuring tool can only
be operated using commercially available batteries.

Operation With Non-Rechargeable Batteries
(Not With Article Number 3 601 K83 371) (see figure B)
The batteries are inserted into the battery adapter.
The battery adapter is intended only for use in desig-
u
nated Bosch measuring tools and must not be used
with power tools.
To insert the batteries, slide the receptacle (27) of the bat-
tery adapter into the battery bay (29). Place the batteries in
