7 SPEED GEAR SYSTEM

The Lectric XP comes with a 7 speed Shimano freewheel (Note: the
freewheel is the cluster of sprockets on the rear wheel of the bike).
This allows the rider to maintain a comfortable level of effort and
pedaling speed throughout different terrains. For instance, while
pedaling in lowest gear (the largest sprocket), it will be easier to
pedal up hills. In the highest gear (the smallest sprocket), the rider
will be able to reach higher speeds on flat or downhill terrain. 1st
gear is the lowest gear of this drivetrain, while 7th gear is the highest
gear. Use the thumb shifter on the right handlebar to shift gears up or
down. To shift up, press the lower button marked with the "+" sign. To
shift down, push the lever on the top of the shifter marked with the "-"
sign. A photo of the shifter can be seen in the photo below.
Only change gears while the bike is in motion. Shifting gears at
a standstill may damage the drivetrain. Do not change gears too
quickly as doing so could cause the chain to fall off and the rider to
lose control, which could result in serious injury. If the chain falls off,
turn the bike off before fixing the chain. If you do not, and the motor
turns on, you could sustain serious injury.

The Lectric XP 2.0 bike may not turn on when the key is turned due to several possible issues:

1. Battery Charge: The battery may not be sufficiently charged. Ensure the battery is fully charged until the light on the charger turns green.

2. Key Position: The key might not be in the correct position. Insert the key into the battery and turn it counterclockwise to the "ON" position or until it is parallel with the frame.

3. Display Connection: There could be a connection issue with the display. Follow the cable from the display to the quick plug, unplug it with a quick pull (without twisting), inspect both sides of the plug, and reconnect it properly.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, contacting customer support is recommended.

I’m having a problem with unfolding the bike. I can only open the lever to a 45 degree angle. I’ve tried machine oil and WD40. It seems that the “open” button on top doesn’t work properly. **** I doing something wrong or is this a common problem?

The context does not explicitly mention a common issue where the Lectric XP 2.0 bike's lever only opens to a 45-degree angle. However, it does mention that the folding latch should be adjusted properly so that it is not too tight, allowing it to be opened when needed. If the lever does not fully open, it may be due to over-tightening or improper adjustment of the latch.

Yes, the odometer on the Lectric XP 2.0 can be reset by holding the plus button for 5 seconds. However, there is no mention of a full LCD reset option.
