4.8.2 Sidecar Installation
If the PDU includes a distribution sidecar, internal connections are made before shipping. The sidecar should be
attached to the floor following the same steps as in the previous section. Electrical attachments to both the main
cabinet and sidecar should follow the instructions outlined in section 4.9.
4.8.3 Floor Stand Installation Instructions

Inspect concrete prior to installation; floor stand cannot be bolted on cracked or damaged concrete.

Bolt the floor stand to the floor using HILTI HIT-RE 500 + HAS 1/2 x 6 1/2 adhesive anchor system. Ensure
a minimum depth of 3 ¼" embedded into concrete. After installation, inspect the concrete for cracks or
damage. All anchors must be perpendicular to the concrete with the nuts tightened flush to the steel
foot.

Position the cabinet onto the floor stand in the orientation shown in Figure 4.8.2.

Using the holes at each corner, attach the cabinet to the floor stand using ½-13 x 3" Grade 5 bolts and
place both a flat washer and a lock washer under the head of the bolt.
