4.9 Electrical wiring

4.9.1 Pre-checks

The TruFit is designed for operation with a three (3) wire grounded source. The unit is designed to operate from
a power source with a phase rotation of A-B-C only.

4.9.2 Equipment Terminals

4.9.2.1 Main Input Terminals
Plated copper bus bars, to accommodate standard NEMA two (2) hole lugs are provided internal to the unit for
input power and grounding power connections and are accessible from the front, as shown in Figure 3.1.3.
4.9.2.2 Subfeed Terminals
Phase connections to subfeed circuit breakers are to be made directly on the breaker in accordance with the
breaker manufacturer's recommendations. Copper bus bars for NEMA two (2) hole lugs are also provided for
subfeed ground and neutral connections. Refer to the outline drawing for specific model connection details, such
as dimensioned bus bar hole patterns.
Torque recommendations for XT-series breakers are shown in the table below.
Upstream overcurrent protective devices (OCPD) must be provided by the customer
in accordance with the NEC and local codes.
