Switching between roll paper and single sheets
To switch from roll paper to single sheet printing, follow these
steps:
1. Remove the roll paper and spindle from the Roll Paper
Holder. There is no need to remove the Roll Paper Holder to
print on sheet paper.
Note:
The spindle can be left in the Roll Paper Holder when the paper
support is attached. However, you must first remove the roll paper
from the spindle, then replace the spindle in the holder.
2. Mount the paper support in the slot on the Roll Paper Holder.
3. Load the sheet paper as described in your printer manual.
Note:
If you do not plan to use the roll paper for a while, return the unused
roll to its original packaging. Unfavorable storage conditions such
as high temperatures, direct sunlight, or humidity can cause the
paper to deteriorate.
Using cut roll paper
You do not need the Roll Paper Holder to load roll paper.
However, if you are not using the holder, you must cut the paper
into sheets of the correct size before loading it into the sheet
feeder.
Preparing the roll paper sheets
Cut the roll paper into sheets as described below.
1. Cut the paper at least 34 mm longer than the length of the
printed data (we recommend that you add 50 mm or more to
the length of the print data).
