Printable Area
Roll Paper
Option
Use the options in the Printable Area box to adjust
the total area available for printing when Auto
Sheet Feeder is selected as the paper source. This
feature is not available when Roll Paper or Roll
Paper [Zero Margins] is selected.
If you want to position your printout at equal
distances from the edges of the paper., select
Centered. If you need to increase the printable
area, select Maximum. Do not select Maximum
when using Premium Glossy Photo Paper.
Note:
When Maximum is selected, the print quality may
decline at the edges of the printout. Before printing
large jobs using this setting, print a single sheet to
confirm quality.
When Maximum is selected, make sure the paper
loaded in the sheet feeder is not curled.
The Roll Paper Option are only available when Roll
Paper or Roll Paper [Zero Margins] is selected as the
paper source. These features are not available
when Auto Sheet Feeder is selected.
The settings are as follows:
Banner Mode:
Select this mode when you wish to print multi-page
data as continuous data on the roll paper, rather
than as individual pages. When this check box is
selected, the Save roll paper check box is enabled.
Cut Sheet Mode:
Select this mode when you wish to print the multi-
page data as individual pages, rather than as
continuous data. When this check box is selected,
the Print page frame check box is enabled.
Save roll paper:
Select this check box when you wish to save roll
paper. When this check box is selected, the blank
portion of the last page of your document is not fed
through the printer. This feature is only available
when Banner Mode is selected.
Print page frame:
Select this check box to print a line on the roll paper
between pages in a multi-page document to
indicate where the paper should be cut. This
feature is useful when it is unclear where the page
breaks should be. This feature is only available
when Cut Sheet Mode is selected.
