8.2.3. Command support data

The Command support data can be requested by setting the CMDDT bit to 1.
The SCSI Operation Code of the requested CDB is specified at this point.
If the requested SCSI Operation Code is supported by the autoloader, the data
is returned in the format shown in Table 8.2.3.1. However, if the requested SCSI
Operation Code is not supported, the Support field is set to 1.

The Peripheral qualifier field and Peripheral device type field contains the
values shown in Tables 8.2.1.2 and 8.2.1.3. Table 8.2.3.2 defines the values in
the Support field.

Table 8.2.3.2 : Support values and meanings
The ISO, ECMA, and ANSI-approved versions have the same numerical values
as those shown in Table 8.2.1.1.
The CDB usage data field contains information relating to the requested
Operation Code CDB. The first byte of the CDB usage data contains the
requested Operation Code. The remaining bytes of the field (containing the
requested Operation Code CDB) are a one-to-one match to the bits of the Usage
map. All the bits of each field of the Operation Code CDB data field requested
by the autoloader is verified for support, and then, depending on the result, the
corresponding bit in the Usage map is set to 1 (supported) or 0 (not supported).
