8.8. POSITION TO ELEMENT Command (2Bh)

MEDIUM SOURCE ELEMENT EMPTY in the former case and MEDIUM
DESTINATION ELEMENT FULL in the latter case.
If the Source Element Address and Destination Element Address are the same,
and there is no cartridge in the Element, the command is terminated with a
CHECK CONDITION. The sense key is ILLEGAL REQUEST and ASC/
ASCQ is MEDIUM SOURCE ELEMENT EMPTY. If there is a cartridge in this
Element, then without any autoloader robotics activity, the command terminates
normally.
The MODE SENSE page provides a matrix of the Source Elements and
Destination Elements that can be transported by the MOVE MEDIUM
command.
When the Invert bit is 1, the cartridge is inverted before it is transported to the
Destination Element. Because the autoloader does not support the inversion
function, the Invert bit is always 0. If the Invert bit is set to a value other than 0,
the command is terminated with a CHECK CONDITION. The sense key is
ILLEGAL REQUEST and ASC/ASCQ is INVALID FIELD IN CDB.
The POSITION TO ELEMENT command moves the Transport Element to the
specified element.

Table 8.8.1 : POSITION TO ELEMENT command
The Transport Element Address indicates the autoloader transport system. The
autoloader only supports one transport system and its Element Address is fixed
to 0h. If this field is set to a value other than 0, the command is terminated with
a CHECK CONDITION. The sense key is ILLEGAL REQUEST and ASC/
ASCQ is INVALID ELEMENT ADDRESS.
The autoloader allows all Element Addresses within the autoloader as the
Destination Element Address. In other words, the Transport Element Address,
Storage Element address, and Data Transfer Element Address. Therefore, when
the Destination Element Address is the Transport Element Address, there is
absolutely no autoloader robotics activity, but the command completes
normally. When this field is set to other than the above, the command is
