Battery Removal

Warning
Before starting
the motorcycle
adequately supported.
This will help prevent it from falling
and causing personal injury and/or
damage to the motorcycle.

Make sure that the battery terminals
do not touch the motorcycle frame.
This may cause a short circuit or spark
which would ignite battery gases
causing a risk of personal injury.

To remove the battery:
• Remove the fixing securing the
battery cover strap and remove the
lower strap.

the cover away from the motorcycle.
Leave the grommets attached to the
battery cover.
