Trident Battery Removal

Make sure that the battery terminals
do not touch the motorcycle frame.
This may cause a short circuit or
spark which would ignite battery
gases causing a risk of personal injury.
1. Negative (black) terminal
2. Battery
3. Battery strap
4. Positive (red) terminal
5. Battery spacer
To remove the battery:
▼ Remove the seat, (see page 73).
▼ Unhook the battery strap from it's
hook near the battery spacer.
▼ Remove the battery spacer.
▼ Disconnect
negative (black) lead first and then
the positive lead.
▼ Remove the battery from its housing.

1. Battery strap clip
2. Diagnostics connector
3. Negative terminal
4. Battery
5. Battery strap
6. Positive (red) terminal
7. Battery spacer
To remove the battery:
▼ Remove the seat, (see page 73).
▼ Disconnect
connector
for
removal.
▼ Disconnect
the
negative (black) lead first and then
the positive lead.
▼ Unhook the battery strap from its
clip near the battery spacer.
▼ Remove the battery spacer.
▼ Carefully remove the battery from its
housing.
