3.3 The 'User' PINs

If you do not want to remember the factory-set 'Disable' and 'Totals' PINs, you can set your
own numbers and use these instead.
The MR500 View allows you to set a number to use for the Disable PIN and another number
for the Totals PIN. These two PINs may be changed as often as desired. Both your 'User'
PINs and the original factory-set ones will work.
Section 4.4.5 explains how to set the User PINs.

3.4 Entering A PIN

At various points you will need to enter a PIN into your MR500 View. This is how it is done:
A flashing dash appears at the position of the digit to be entered. The dash becomes steady
once the digit has been entered.
Digit 1
Digit 2
Digit 3
Digit 4
Digit 5
If you do not press a button for 20 seconds, the MR500 View times
out and goes back to its previous state.

3.5 Setting A New PIN

Whenever you need to set a PIN, the MR500 View always get you to enter it twice to ensure
there have been no typing errors.
If you enter a different number the second time you will have to start the whole operation
again.
