4.6.5 Speed Alarms

This option may not be present for some tariff set-ups. If the
'Movement In STOPPED Mode' feature is in use, only one speed
alarm is available (See Section 7.6)
The MR500 View has up to two Speed Alarms. If you set the speed alarms, the MR500 View
will warn you if your vehicle exceeds one of up to two different speed settings.
Press SELECT to enter the Speed Alarm menu.

4.6.6 Viewing And Setting The Speed Alarms

The two alarms are shown as '
Press EXTRAS to move between the two alarms.
Press and Hold SELECT whilst making changes to the alarm.
Press REVERT to turn the alarm ON or OFF.
Press EXTRAS to increase speed setting (Max. 99mph / 159kph).
Press TOTAL to decrease speed setting (Min. 10mph / 16kph).
Press MODE to change units of measurement.
Release SELECT to save changes.
When the vehicle exceeds a speed alarm setting, you will hear a distinctive long followed by a
short 'beep'.
Note: any changes made to the speed alarm setting will not take effect until the operator has
left the menu and returned to the ON, OFF or FOR HIRE mode.
