4.4.7 Comms Options

This menu entry allows you to make changes to the MR500 View's comms options. These
options are usually related to a connected Receipt Printer or a Mobile Data Terminal (MDT).

4.4.8 Comms Options Menu Sequence

COMMS OPTIONS
UART 0/1 Baud Rate
Press and Hold SELECT while changing the baud rate setting.
Press EXTRAS to change to the required baud rate (default: 9600).
Release SELECT to save the changes.

UART 0/1 Parity
Press and Hold SELECT while changing the parity setting.
Press EXTRAS to change to the required parity setting (default: NONE).
Release SELECT to save the changes.
* Currently the default comms port for both printers and MDTs is UART 0
MDT Mode
Press and Hold SELECT while changing the MDT setting.
Press EXTRAS to change to the required MDT setting (default: A).
Release SELECT to save the changes.
