● If seawater, detergent, sand, or mud gets on the product
If any liquid other than plain water (e.g. seawater, detergent,
sand, or mud) gets on the product, immediately rinse it with
plain water.
• You can wash the product under a mild flow (up to 6 liters
per minute) of tap water at room temperature (5℃ to
35℃) at a distance of about 10 cm from the faucet or
showerhead.
• Make sure that the battery cover is tightly closed, and
holding the external connection terminal cover and stereo
earphone terminal cover so that they do not open, wash
the product with your hands. Do not use a brush or sponge.
● After the product gets wet
• If the product gets wet, drain water and wipe off water
drops on the ISW13F with clean dry cloth.
* Do not leave the product without wiping off water. Doing so may short-circuit the
external connection terminal.
* In cold climates, water on the ISW13F main unit may turn to frost. Using the
product with frost may cause a fault. Do not leave the product without wiping off
water.
• Do not leave the ISW13F without wiping off water. The
ISW13F easily gets water around the keys. Swing the
ISW13F to flick off the water. (In this case, pay attention
to the situation around you and not to drop the ISW13F. )
Wipe off remaining water drops with clean dry cloth.
• If the ISW13F gets wet with water or snow, wipe off with
clean dry cloth. Be careful not to get your cloth or bag wet
with water you could not wipe off or water remaining in the
gaps.
● Draining
If you use the ISW13F main unit with water droplets on its
surface, make it lower the sound volume of the speaker or
wet your cloth or bag. And water may have gotten into the
product through gaps such as keys. Follow the following
steps to remove water on the ISW13F.

Wipe off the droplets on the surface
of the ISW13F

Shake the ISW13F approximately
20 times, firmly holding it as
shown, until there is no more
water splattering. Turn the
product over so that the positions
of the earpiece and microphone
are changed and shake the product again.
• Hold the ISW13F firmly not to drop it off.

Lightly press the ISW13F against
the dry cloth etc. to wipe off water
remaining in the microphone,
earpiece, speaker, key, etc.

Place the product on a dry towel
or cloth and leave it at room
temperature (approximately 30 minutes).
Even after you take these procedures, water may remain on
the ISW13F. Do not place the product near things that you
do not want to wet. Also, take care not to wet your clothes,
bag, etc.
