  • Page 8: Measuring Resistance/Conductivity

MEASURING RESISTANCE/CONDUCTIVITY • When measuring ultra-high resistance, higher than 40MΩ, it is advised to use nS range to measure its conductivity G: G=1/R (Ω). The unit Siemens (S)=10 9/R (Ω). The unit is (nS). • By virtue of the function of resistance measuring, it is allowed to make self-checks on built-in fuses.

MEASURING CIRCUIT SWITCHING • If resistance between two terminals measured is higher than 100Ω, it shall be deemed as open circuit and the buzzer will not sound. • If the resistance between the two terminals measured is lower than 10Ω, it shall be deemed as sound conductivity of a circuit and the buzzer will produce a constant sound.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Accuracy is guaranteed for one year. Ambient temperature: 23°C ± 5°C (73.4°F ± 9°F), relative humidity ≤75%. Caution • For accuracy, the temperature conditions should be controlled between 18°C and 28°C, while the fluctuation range of the ambient temperature should be stabilised within ±1°C.
