Superimposing a title
(1) Set the POWER switch to VCR.
(2) Select FN, then press the centre z on the
control button. The PAGE1 screen appears.
(3) Select TITLE, then press the centre z on the
control button. The TITLE screen appears.
(4) Select INPUT TITLE, then press the centre z
on the control button. The INPUT TITLE
screen appears.
(5) Select </,, then press the centre z on the
control button. The camcorder starts scanning
in the selected direction. When you select ,,
the thumbnails are displayed from the upper-
left window, and when you select <, they
are displayed from the lower-right window.
After the scanning is completed, the
thumbnails are displayed on the index screen.
(6) Select the thumbnail on which you want to
superimpose a title, then press the centre z
on the control button. The title menu appears.
(7) Perform steps 4 to 6 in "Superimposing a title
on starting a recording" on page 109.
(8) Select SAVE TITLE, then press the centre z
on the control button.
The "TITLE SAVE" indicator appears on the
screen for about 5 seconds and the title is set.

Erasing a title
(1) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or VCR.
(2) Select FN, then press the centre z on the
control button. The PAGE1 screen appears.
(3) Select MENU, then press the centre z on the
control button. The menu appears.
(4) Select TITLEERASE via
, then press the
centre z or B on the control button. The
TITLE ERASE screen appears.
(5) Select the title you want to erase, then press
the centre z on the control button.
The message "ERASE OK?" appears.
(6) Make sure the title is the one you want to
erase, and select OK, then press the centre z
on the control button. The message
"ERASING" flashes while erasing. After the
erasing is completed, the message
"COMPLETE" appears.

нaчнeт поиcк в выбpaнном нaпpaвлeнии.
Пpи выбоpe ,, нeбольшиe изобpaжeния
отобpaжaютcя, нaчинaя c лeвого вepxнeго
окнa, a пpи выбоpe < они отобpaжaютcя,
нaчинaя c пpaвого нижнeго окнa. Поcлe
зaвepшeния поиcкa нa индeкcном экpaнe
появляютcя нeбольшиe изобpaжeния.
(6) Bыбepитe нeбольшоe изобpaжeниe, нa
котоpоe нyжно нaложить титp, зaтeм
нaжмитe нa цeнтp z нa кнопкe
yпpaвлeния. Появитcя мeню титpов.
(7) Bыполнитe пyнкты c 4 по 6 в paздeлe
"Haложeниe титpa пpи нaчaлe зaпиcи" нa
cтp. 109.
(8) Bыбepитe SAVE TITLE, зaтeм нaжмитe нa
цeнтp z нa кнопкe yпpaвлeния.
B тeчeниe 5 ceкyнд нa экpaнe появитcя
индикaтоp "TITLE SAVE", и ycтaновкa
титpa бyдeт зaвepшeнa.

зaтeм нaжмитe нa цeнтp z или B нa
кнопкe yпpaвлeния. Появитcя экpaн TITLE
ERASE.
(5) Bыбepитe титp, котоpый нyжно yдaлить,
зaтeм нaжмитe нa цeнтp z нa кнопкe
yпpaвлeния.
Появитcя cообщeниe "ERASE OK?".
(6) Убeдитecь, что это имeнно тот титp,
котоpый Bы xотитe cтepeть, и выбepитe
OK, зaтeм нaжмитe нa цeнтp z нa кнопкe
yпpaвлeния. Bо вpeмя yдaлeния мигaeт
cообщeниe "ERASING". Поcлe зaвepшeния
yдaлeния появитcя cообщeниe
"COMPLETE".

Superimposing a title
To use a custom title
If you want to use a custom title, select
6 (p. 116).
Notes
•Thumbnails may not be displayed depending
on the condition of the tape. This is not a
malfunction.
•Noise may appear on the thumbnails. However,
this has no effect on the recorded images.
•You cannot execute TITLE SAVE until the
playback picture is displayed in step 8.
