    Quick Start Guide Recording movies on a tape Attach the charged battery pack to the camcorder. Slide the BATT (battery release) lever in the direction of the arrow as shown in the illustration and remove the battery terminal cover.     Step 2: Charging the battery pack You can charge the battery by attaching the “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack (F series) to your camcorder. b Notes • You cannot use batteries other than the “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack (F series) (p. 99). • Do not short-circuit the DC plug of the AC Adaptor with any metallic objects.

    Step 3: Turning the power on You need to slide the POWER switch repeatedly to select the desired mode to record or play. When using this camcorder for the first time, the CLOCK SET screen appears (p. 17). While pressing the green button, slide the POWER switch in the direction of the arrow.
