3-8. AT-196 Board and Lithium Battery
Preparation
1. Remove the cover. (Refer to
Procedure
1. Remove the lithium battery.
2. Remove the three screws (PSW3 x 10), then remove the heat sink.
3. Remove the radiation sheet.
4. Disconnect the flexible flat cable (45 core) from the connector (CN901) on the AT-196 board.
5. Disconnect the fine-wire coaxial cable from the connector (CN900) on the AT-196 board.
6. Disconnect the harness from the connector (CN100) on the AT-196 board.
7. Remove the tape AS.
8. Disconnect the harness from the connector (CN903) on the AT-196 board.
9. Open the three clampers.
10. Disconnect the two optical fiber cables from the connector (CN600) on the AT-196 board.
11. Remove the seven screws (2.6 x 5).
12. Remove the five screws (PSW3 x 8), then remove the AT-196 board in the direction of the arrow.

Route the harness through the notch of
the AT-196 board to prevent it from getting
caught in the DPR bracket.

• When connecting the optical fiber cables, clean the end of cables.
• When connecting the optical fiber cables, route them as shown in the illustration.
13. Install the removed parts by reversing the steps of removal.
