6-1. Error Messages
If an error occurs while this equipment is in operation, the STATS button blinks in red when the BKS-
R3219A is used. When the BKS-R1617A is used, the following error message is displayed on the display
block. Error message will disappear within 1 or 2 seconds. Alternately, the CLEAR button can be pressed
to turn off the error message to execute operations.

Remarks
If the error occurs at the rate of one error
every several minutes, it creates no problem.
The probable cause may be the power-line
noise or use of a long cable exceeding 500 m
for the S-BUS remote control with the cable
equivalent to 5C-2V. Even when the unit
appears to be acting normally during use, as
long as the symptoms remain the same, the
unit should be considered defective.
This error occurs when the S-BUS
communication cannot be completed within a
specified time. Possible cause is that the main
power of the primary station (or subnet
controller) is OFF, or open circuit in the cables.
This error occurs when the main power of the
primary station is turned ON, or an error is
found in the S-BUS.
The source that has been set as secret can
be selected by the primary station only.
Switching cannot be executed when the
destination on which switching is attempted is
proteced.
The display shows the station ID
protected equipment.
This error occurs when a name could not be
found from the type name (Type) + Number
(number) or from the keypad selection.
Levels are all outside the controllable range.
Destination is not set. Change selection or
setting.
If the source that is going to be selected is
outside the range of available sources, this
error message is displayed. In such a case,
switching cannot be executed.
