Malfunctions

WARNING – Trapping in wash chamber door
•
When opening and closing the wash chamber door, make sure that nothing
is trapped in the door.
•
If you are unsure about how to remove blockages, call service engineer or
service technician to remove the blockage.

Possible cause
Incorrectly inserted /
unsuitable care uten-
sils in the holder
Care utensils that
have fallen out of the
holder prevent the
door from opening.
Note/remedy
•
Reverse mode is activated auto-
matically: the wash chamber
door opens slightly and releases
the blockage.
•
Operate the infrared proximity
switch or foot switch to open the
door completely.
•
Remove blockage.
•
If there is no blockage, inform
an in-house technician or ser-
vice technician.
•
Reverse mode is not activated:
the wash chamber door stops.
The display shows error mes-
sage 702. Infrared proximity
switch and foot switch are deac-
tivated.
•
Remove blockage.
•
Confirm error message.
•
Use the appliance as usual.
•
If there is no blockage, inform
an in-house technician or ser-
vice technician.
