6. Fault finding, repair and maintenance

Service functions for fast unit checks in installed condition. Display test and testing
the digital inputs and relays. Protected by the security code "6051" in order to avoid
unintentional faulty use.
Functions:
- Display test
- Test digital I/O
- Calibration
Warning: so long as these functions are being used the normal measured value plot
is interrupted.
Hint: Each time this function is accessed it is recorded in the events table. Calibration
should only be carried out by skilled and trained personnel (in order to smooth
measurement chain tolerances please usee the "Offset" function - see "Analogue
inputs").
The videographic recorder informs the user of faults or faulty operation by displaying
a text on the screen.
Problem
Analogue input displays
"———" or "∧∧∧∧∧∧".
Display does not operate.
Cause
The signal cables are
either incorrectly or not
connected.
The input signal is not the
same as the signal set up.
The sensor is defective.
No illuminated LED =>
No power supply.
No illuminated LED =>
Unit fuse defective.
