5.4 Checking the Status of the Power Supply

This section describes how to check the power supply on the controller subrack through the
OSM.

Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the OSM.
Step 2 On the main menu, click Device.
Step 3 In the navigation, click Controller Subrack xx (xx indicates the controller subrack ID).
Step 4 In the navigation tree, click PEM.
Step 5 Click the PEM0 or PEM1 tab to view the information about the PEM. The parameter description
is shown in

Description
This parameter indicates the running status of a fan. The status can be
Normal or Fault.
If the running status of the fan is Fault, see
Storage System Alarm Reference.
If an alarm that is related to the fan is displayed on the alarm interface, handle it by referring
to the suggestion in the alarm items.
No new alarms related to the power supply are displayed on the alarm interface.
The running status of the power supply is Normal.
NOTE
The parameters of the power supply in the disk subrack is the same as controller subrack. To check the
status of the power supply in the disk subrack, click Device on the main menu, and then click Disk Subrack
xx (xx indicates the disk subrack ID) in the navigation tree.
