3.1.1 FLUSH MOUNTED: CAUTION: Two people may be required for various steps of this procedure. (Luminous 1200) 1. Prepare a wall with a framed opening of 1245mm wide x 470 cm high (Figure 1). NOTE: The sizing has allowed for 6.4mm around the fireplace insert for ease of installation. This fireplace does not require any additional venting. - Page 7 4. Use bubble level (supplied) to level the fireplace within the framing. Adjust as required. 5. (Luminous 1200): Drive four supplied mounting screws through the four mounting holes located on the inside sur- face of the fireplace chassis, into wall studs (Figure 3) (Luminous 1800): Use the supplied template to mark the 4 screws that secure the installation bar to the wall.
- Page 8 6. Front glass installation: 6.1. Evenly distribute the supplied wood on the front tray of the fireplace (Figure 4). 6.2. Carefully mount front glass assembly so that the front glass hooks (4) hang on the front glass mounts on the fireplace (4) (Figure 5).

9. Install the removed screw through the bottom support bracket into the fireplace. 10. Refer to Front Glass Installation section final installation procedures. 3.1.2.2 MONTAGEM À SUPERFÍCIE (Luminous 1200) 1. Choose a location which has a minimum of two wall studs available for mounting. - Page 11 GlammFire. PAG./11 4. Position the fireplace on a wall at the position where it will be mounted (Figure 10). Use a bubble level (one is sup- plied) to ensure that fireplace is level on the wall. Figure 10. 5. GlammFire. PAG./14 4 - CONTROLS WARNING: This electric firebox must be properly installed before it is used. The unit can be controlled by either the manual controls which are located on the upper right of the fireplace or the remote (Figure 7 & 8). The fireplace is supplied with an IR multifunction remote control. - Page 15 GlammFire. PAG./15 G. Temp Down - Press multiple times to lower the heater temperature in 1ºC increments. The lowest temperature that can be set 5ºC. Note: Once you stop at your desired temperature this will flash 3 times, then the display will show the room temperature as detected by the product.
