7. Cleaning

DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
Pull the mains plug 10 out of the wall
socket before you clean the device.
DANGER! Risk of injury
through burning!
Allow the device to cool down before
cleaning.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
Do not use any sharp or abrasive clean-
ing aids.
Cleaning the device
• For cleaning the device, use a soft,
moistened cloth.
• Dirt can be removed from the steam
unit 3 using commercially available
cleaning agents for chrome, silver or
stainless steel.
Descaling
If the steam power is reduced after a certain
time, please descale the device.
• For descaling, you should use a com-
mercially available descaling agent
based on citric acid. Please follow the
instructions for the descaling agent.
1. Place the descaling agent into the wa-
ter tank 8.
2. Connect the mains plug 10 with the
wall socket. The control light 1 flashes.
3. Allow the descaling agent to work.
4. Press the steam jet button 4 and use the
steam brush to steam an old cotton
cloth.

8. Storage

1. Pull out the mains plug 10.
2. Allow the device to cool down.
3. Remove the water tank 8 and open the
lid 7.
4. Pour any remaining water out of the
water tank 8 through the filling open-
ing 6.
5. Replace the water tank 8.

9. Troubleshooting

If your device fails to function as required,
please try this checklist first. Perhaps there is
only a minor problem, and you can solve it
yourself.
