WORKING BASIC MODES
A lot of Console functions can be executed from the remote. But, same functions are used frequently from a
remote control, while others are advises against to use them from a remote control.
Using macros the user can to access a any needed functions that it is not in the HRC, although we must be to
bear in mind, that from the remote:
•
The console doesn't permit us to access to the edition pages. The Console edition pages are the editable
"data table" pages. Examples: the recording Effects page, the modification masters page, or any of
general modification: GROUP GROUP, PAGE PAGE, CUE CUE, etc.
•
The console doesn't permit us to activate the functions: LN.TM
•
The console doesn't permit us to access to the Console menus.
•
The console doesn't permit us the recording of a macro.
•
In short, Console doesn't permit us to access to these situations "no naturals" to work from a remote
control.
Note:
This remote is a peripheral of the consoles of the 8700 Series, and its commands are the same commands of
Console. In this manual no commands are explained. If it is needed, consult the Console manual or the Help
on Line of the own console (menu 69).
CHANNELS, FIXTURES, GROUPS OR CUES TEST
In the first hours of the montage, the HRC is used to "check" channels and fixture dimmers, with the finality
of direct them, easily. Some examples:
Test of consecutives channels or fixtures, beginning from 1:
ch 1 test, test, test...
fixt 1 test, test, test...
Test of channels or fixtures in random way:
ch 1 test 4 7 test 6 2 test...
fixt 1 test 5 test 1 1 test...
Test of channels or fixtures, for example, of odd number (1, 3, 5...):
ch 1
test, next next test, next next test ...
fixt 1 test, next next test, next next test ...
At any moment, the arrows permit us to control:
the level of the channels and fixtures, (LV)
and the position of the fixtures pressing
The user can to store groups and cues and, in the same way, to test the stored groups & cues:
grp 1 test, test, test...
CUE 1 test, test, test...
You can to store groups or cues from the remote. In example, store the channels from 10 to 15 and the
channel 37 in the next free group.
ch 1 0 thru 1 5 ch 3 7 grp rec (nothing happen in scene)
ch 1 0 thru 1 5 ch 3 7 call grp rec (these channels appear in scene at 100%)
Store the cue 1 with: fixtures from 1 to 3 at 100% and with the library position 1.
