PREPARING THE GRAPHICS CARD
You will need the following tool:
Phillips Head Screwdriver
STEP 1
REMOVING THE STOCK COOLER
Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the six marked screws
STEP 1
from the side of the backplate.
Carefully detach the PCB together with the backplate from the stock
cooler and disconnect four cables connected to the PCB.
STEP 2
REMOVING THE I/O COVER
Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws from the
side of the backplate and three screws from the I/O side. Put the I/O
cover aside - you'll need it later.
STEP 2

Always remove the stock cooler slowly - it might be firmly
glued to the PCB with thermal pads.
