2 Select Scanning→Select List→<Scan List>→Edit.
3 Select the required talkgroup and press Menu/OK.
4 Perform one of the following actions:
To delete the talkgroup from the scanning list, select Delete and press Menu/OK. Press
Menu/OK to confirm deletion.
To change the scan priority, select Priority and press Menu/OK. Select one of the following
option and press Menu/OK to change the priority:
Low
Medium
High
Your radio display confirmation of the action you selected.

Security
Security menu stores all your security settings.
4.11.1
PIN Protect
This feature allows you to enable/disable PIN code authentication at the next power on. This code
protects your radio against unauthorized use.
NOTICE: Customers are strongly advised to change the default PIN code in order to protect
devices from unauthorized access.
If you are unable to unlock the radio, you can only send or receive Emergency Calls and adjust the
volume level with the Rotary Knob.
NOTICE: If the radio uses a BSI PIN code and you are unable to unlock the radio, you cannot
take any action.

Protecting the Radio with a PIN Code
Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu key.
2 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
3 Select Security→PIN Protect.
4 Select On.
5 Enter the PIN code.
NOTICE: To increase security, set your own PIN code. By default the PIN code are all
zeros (depending on the length of the PIN code). For radios with general PIN
authentication, the PIN length is a fixed 4-digit code. For radios with BSI PIN
authentication, the PIN length is configurable by your service provider up to a maximum
of 8-digit code.
Postrequisites:Each time you turn on the terminal, PIN code is required.
