valid value was entered, e. g.:
m Hexadecimal numbers (prefix 0x) have a fix length of 4 or 8 digits according to data

m The list of selectable characters contents a space character, if it is a display format
m The display is scrolled, while editing character strings longer than 3 lines.
m It is not possible to change the given display format.
