Enabling battery conserving mode
The battery conserving mode suppresses battery consumption by
minimizing the home screen layout, and restricting the number of
available apps.

Information
• To disable Battery conserving mode, press active key for 1 second or
longer.
• From the Home screen,
→ "Settings" → "Battery" → "Battery
conserving mode" →
→ Tap "OK" to enable battery conserving
mode.
• Set the Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth functions to be switched ON from the
notification panel in the battery conserving mode.
• To add an app on the Home screen, "+" → Tap the app to want to add.
• To delete an app on the Home screen, "EDIT" → Tap the app to want
to delete → "DONE".
Enabling Emergency mode
Enabling Emergency mode changes the following settings to reduce
battery consumption.
• Limit number of available applications.
• Turn Data network off when the screen backlight turns off.
• Turn off connection functions such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth function,
• Turn off Silent mode (Mute, Vibrate).

"Emergency mode" → Confirm the note and mark the
checkbox → "AGREE" → "TURN ON"

• To disable Emergency mode, "MORE" → "Turn off Emergency mode" or
Touch and hold [Power/Screen lock key] for 1 second or longer to
display a menu screen, then tap "Emergency mode".
• To enable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth function in Emergency mode, "MORE" →
"Settings" → "Wi-Fi"/"Bluetooth" → Tap
• To turn Silent mode (Mute, Vibrate) ON during Emergency mode,
touch and hold the Volume DOWN key until Silent mode is set.
• Enabling Emergency mode restricts part of functions. In addition,
available functions for applications may be limited.
• Using MobileTV and a browser consumes much power even in
Emergency mode.
• Disabling Emergency mode may hide some widgets on the Home
screen and may need to rearrange them.
• The emergency call number (119) is registered in your main
contacts.
• To delete an app on the Home screen, "MORE" → "Remove" → Tap the
app you want to delete → "OK".
