Remove the lid before draining the remaining
hot water from the thermopot flask.
To avoid risk of electric shock, do not immerse
the thermopot, the power cord and the power
plug of the unit into water or other liquids.
Unplug the unit, if you are not using it or
before cleaning.
Do not wash the thermopot in a dishwashing
machine.
Before taking the unit away for long storage or
before cleaning, unplug it, pour out water and
let the unit cool down and dry.
For children's safety reasons do not leave
polyethylene bags used as packaging unat-
tended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with
polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of
suffocation!
Close supervision is necessary when chil-
dren or disabled persons are near the oper-
ating unit.
This unit is not intended for usage by children.
Place the unit out of reach of children during
the operation and cooling down.
Do not allow children to touch the unit body
and the power cord during the unit opera-
tion.
The unit is not intended for usage by physi-
cally or mentally disabled persons (including
children) or by persons lacking experience or
knowledge if they are not under supervision of
a person who is responsible for their safety or
if they are not instructed by this person on the
usage of the unit.
Do not leave children unattended to prevent
using the unit as a toy.
If the power cord is damaged, it should be
replaced by the manufacturer, a maintenance
service or similar qualified personnel to avoid
danger.
Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not dis-
assemble the unit by yourself, if any mal-
function is detected or after it was dropped,
unplug the unit and apply to any authorized
service center from the contact address list
given in the warranty certificate and on the
website www.vitek.ru.
Transport the unit in the original packaging
only.
Keep the unit out of reach of children and
people with disabilities.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After the unit transportation or storage at low
temperature keep it for at least three hours at
room temperature before switching on.
There may be water spots in the thermopot,
this is normal, as the unit has undergone
factory quality control.
Unpack the thermopot; remove any advertis-
ing stickers that can prevent the unit opera-
tion.
Check the unit for damages, do not use it in
case of damages.
Make sure that the unit operating voltage cor-
responds to the voltage of your mains.
The unit is intended for operation with AC sys-
tem and 50 or 60 Hz frequency. The unit does
not need any additional settings for operating
with the required nominal frequency.
Place the thermopot on a dry flat surface
keeping at least 20 cm gap between the ther-
mopot body and the wall or furniture and at
least 50 cm gap above the thermopot.
Open the lid (8) by pressing the button (6) and
holding it.
Fill the thermopot with water using a suitable
bowl, do not exceed the maximal water level
mark (15) «FULL».
Insert the power cord (16) connector into the
socket (12) on the thermopot body, and the
power cord (16) plug into the mains socket,
you will hear a sound signal. The thermopot
will switch on in the boiling mode, the indi-
cator (25) «BOILING» will light up. The water
level scale (2) illumination will light up, the dig-
ital symbols (18) on the display (17) will show
the keep warm temperature «85». The keep
warm temperature «85°С» is set by default.
The digital symbols (19) will show the water
temperature in the thermopot.
Notes: - water temperature (19) is shown from
25°С to 100°С with a step 5°С.
After long water boiling you will hear sound
signals and the thermopot will switch to
the keep warm mode, the indicator (25)
«BOILING» will go out and the keep warm
mode indicator (22) «KEEP WARM» will light
