2.16.5 How to program a controller using an Emerson "Hot Key" (download)

▪ Turn the controller off.
▪ Insert a pre-programmed "Hot Key" into the 5-pin receptacle and turn the controller on.
▪ The parameter list of the hot key will be automatically downloaded into the controller memory.
The "doL" message will blink followed a by a flashing "End" label.
▪ After 10 seconds the controller will restart working with the new parameters.
▪ Remove the "Hot Key".
NOTE: The message "Err" is displayed in case of a failed programming operation. In this case
turn the unit off, then on again if you want to restart the download or remove the "Hot Key"
to abort the operation.
2.17 Troubleshooting – Alarm history
The controller records the total number of alarm activations (max 50) in the alarm menu – see
Appendix 5.
