Safety instructions The Copeland EazyCool™ condensing units are manufactured according to the latest and valid industrial standards. Particular emphasis has been placed on the user safety. These condensing units are intended for installation in machines and systems according to the EC Machines directive. They may be put to service only, if they have been installed in these machines according to the existing instruction and as a whole agree with the corresponding provisions of legislation (standards to apply: refer to Manufacturers declaration).
General instructions WARNING System breakdown! Personnel injuries! Never install a system in the field and leave it unattended when it has no charge, a holding charge, or with the service valves closed without electrically locking out the system. System breakdown! Personnel injuries! Only approved refrigerant and refrigerating oils must be used.

Starting up & Operation Before commissioning, insure that all Rotalock valves and other valves on the condensing unit are fully opened. Charging Procedure 4.1.1 Refrigerant charging procedure It is recommended to charge the unit with refrigerant into the receiver, via the Rotalock service valve.
All three-phase scroll compressors are identically wired internally. Therefore, once the corre t phasing is determined for a spe cific system or installation, connecting properly phased power leads to the identified terminals in the electrical panel will insure proper rotation direction. Maximum compressor cycle Maximum permitted start per hour: 10 times Checks before starting &...
