SEPARATING THE DRUM UNIT AND TONER HOPPER
STEP 1.1
Release Button
To release the toner hopper from the drum unit, press the
release button located on the drum unit (Figure 1.1).
Note: For instructional purposes, a TN-210MA cartridge
is shown.
STEP 1.3 (CHECK THE ALIGNMENT OF THE BOSS)

Warning: While remanufacturing the Brother
proper alignment or warping (Figure 1.3). IF THE BOSS IS WARPED OR MISSHAPEN, THE CARTRIDGE CANNOT
BE REMANUFACTURED. If you proceed with a cartridge that has a warped boss, the drive side gears will not connect
securely, they will not engage properly and a loud clicking noise will be heard.
