Fig.4-9; the specification: DN20.
Drainage outlet of jacket cooling water: The water consumption to cool the extruder
barrel at elevated temprature is about 1~1.5t/h, which is a bit high. we can recycle the
water heated by the jacket into the above-mentioned water tank, therefore not only to
avoid water waste but also further to benefit the curing of materials when putting the water
at higher temperature into the conditioner and the extruder barrel, and thus at the same
time to utilize the energy more efficiently.
Jacket condensate outlet: Steam turns into condensate that drains through the
outlet. The condensate mingled with a certain amount of steam is in small amount and at
higher temperature that can drain here via a pipe. Installation to make sure that this
discharging pipe and that of oil cooler should not be connected to the same outlet.
Cooling water inlet of jacket: Water at a high temperature heated by jacket flows
upwards. Proceeding from this principle, we set the inlet of cooling water at the lower side
and the water outlet at the upper side. The inlet joint can be directly connected to the tap
water.

(5) Steam pipeline of conditioner
Triple-shaft conditioner equipped on the MY265 single-screw extruder is a two-layer composite
conditioner with a single-cylinder conditioner as the upper layer and a DDC conditioner as the lower
layer, each of which has a steam inlet. In the operation, all or most of the steam goes to the upper
layer, while the steam addition via lower layer inlet is for steam complement only.
As shown in Fig.4-11, relevant installation requirements for steam pipeline of the
conditioner are as following:
2.Condensate drainage 3.Jacket steam inlet
6.Jacket cooling water inlet
