4 Transportation and installation

4.1 Transportation

(1) Hoisting
①It is required to disassemble the belt and guard of belt pulley before hoisting so as to protect the
principal machine from damage by hoisting cable. See Fig.4-1 Hoisting diagram.
② For restricted space on job-site or the ability of hoisting equipment, separate lifting is
advised for feeding bin, feeder, conditioner, and principal machine of the extruder,
respectively. As shown in Fig.4-2, Fig.4-3 and Fig.4-4 in process of separate lifting, the
equipment must not be pressed, impacted or damaged in the processes of disassembling,
hoisting and assembling.
