System Frequency Settings

Configure the system frequency for network video
transmissions. The sender side must be configured
according to the video format of the video output device.

1) When 59.94 Hz/60 Hz is selected, 60 Hz video is converted to
59.94 Hz and transmitted.
Note
Video cannot be transmitted properly if the system
frequency and frame frequency of the input video do not
match. Be sure to adjust the video frequency settings on
the video output device.

1) Attach the supplied NUA-AA10 analog adapter.
2) Attach the supplied NUA-AA10 analog adapter and the
SMF-405 signal cable (not supplied).

Input Video Upconvert Settings

When the input video resolution is less than 1920×1080,
convert the video resolution to 1920×1080 before
transmission.
Two methods of resolution conversion are available,
expanded mode and dot-by-dot mode.
In expanded mode, the resolution is expanded while
retaining the aspect ratio.
In dot-by-dot mode, a black border is inserted around
the input video, converting the image as a whole to
1920×1080.

Output Video Format Settings

Configure the output video format according to the
transmission video format.
For details on the relationship between the input video
format and the transmission video format, see page 31.

1) 1920×1080/50i Level B-DS formats transmitted from the
NU-IP40S are output as 1920×1080/50p from the NU-
IP40D.
2) 1920×1080/59.94i Level B-DS formats transmitted from the
NU-IP40S are output as 1920×1080/59.94p from the NU-
IP40D.
Note
If the connected monitor does support the above
formats, output at VGA resolution (640×480).

setting (DIP switch 1 [7])" under "DIP Switch Settings"
(page 36).
