8) CLEANING AND CARE
Attention: direct water jets or pressurised jets must not be used to wash the appliance.
Before using a new appliance, it must be carefully cleaned.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and clean it with hot water and normal detergent.
Do not use acid or corrosive products, wire wool or brushes as these could deposit ferrous
particles that would oxidise and cause rust. Stainless steel wire wool may be used on the outer
surfaces, following the direction of the brushed satin finish.
In the event the appliance will not be used for a long time, rub it well with a cloth soaked in
Vaseline oil to spread a protective film all over; the room should be periodically ventilated as well.
Warning: the appliance must be disconnected from the mains in the event of long periods
without use.
