7 Choke
a). Move the choke lever (23) to
"
" (CLOSE) position for cold start
(Fig. 20).
b). Move the choke lever (23) to
" (OPEN) position for warm start

8 Fuel lever
a). Move the fuel lever (20) to "
(ON) position before starting the engine
(Fig. 22).
b). Move the fuel lever (20) to "
position after shutting off the engine
(Fig. 23).
9 Ignition switch
a). Set the ignition switch (19) to "I" (ON)
position to start the product (Fig. 24).
b). Set the ignition switch (19) to "0" (OFF)
position to shut off the product (Fig. 25).
10 General operation
a). Check the product as well as
accessories for damage before each
use. Do not use the product if it is
damaged or shows wear.
b). Double check that accessories are
properly fixed.
c). Check the fuel and engine oil level, refill
if necessary.
d). Push the product forward by its handle.
Keep the handle dry and clean to
ensure safe support.
e). Ensure that the air vents are always
unobstructed and clear. Clean them if
necessary with a soft brush. Blocked
air vents may lead to overheating and
damage the product.
f). Switch the product off immediately if
you are disturbed while working by
other people entering the working
area. Always let the product come to
complete stop before averting.
g). Do not overwork yourself. Take regular

breaks to ensure you can concentrate
on the work and have full control over
the product.

11 Starting/Stopping
Cold start
a). Move the fuel lever (20) to "
position.
b). Move the choke lever (23) to "
(CLOSE) position.
c). Move the throttle lever (13) to halfway
position.
d). Set ignition switch (19) to "I" (ON)
position (Fig. 26).
e). Pull the recoil starter handle (21) slowly
several times. Then pull the recoil
starter handle until you feel a definite
resistance (starter engaged) and
then pull firmly to start the engine. If
necessary, pull the recoil starter handle
several times until the engine starts.
f). Let the engine run in idle for about
20 - 30 seconds to warm it up.
g). Gradually move the choke lever (23)
to the "OPEN" position as the engine
warms up.
