c). Exhaust gases and fuel fumes are
noxious. Fuel fumes can ignite. Never
use the product in environments where
there is a risk of explosion.
d). Never breathe in any fuel fumes, when
you are refuelling the product. Never fill
the tank in enclosed spaces, such as
basements or sheds. There is a risk of
poisoning and explosion!
e). Avoid skin contact with petrol.
f). Do not eat or drink, while you are
refuelling the product. If you have
swallowed petrol or oil, or if petrol or
oil has got into your eyes, then seek
medical advice immediately.
g). Close the tank lid immediately after
filling the tank. Make sure that it is
properly closed.
h). Never use the product without an air
filter.

3 Additional safety warnings
a). Some special hazards may arise when
working on difficult soil. The product
may suddenly accelerate or will be
completely blocked.
b). This product should only be operated by
suitably trained persons. Every person
who uses this product has to read
carefully and understand this instruction
manual.
c). When during operation the roller brush
is blocked by soft materials. Switch
off the engine, remove the spark
plug connector and then remove the
materials.
d). Maintain the product according to
recommended procedure and use only
parts specified by the manufacturer. If
defects are discovered, have it repaired
immediately at an authorised dealer or
specialist before continuing the work.

e). Only use this product in areas where
it can be used in a safe way. Avoid
working with this product in areas
with steep slopes and always keep
both hands on the handlebar during
operation.
4 Additional safety warnings for
clearing snow
a). Do not operate the product without
wearing adequate winter garments.
Wear footwear, which will improve
footing on slippery surfaces.
b). Let engine and product adjust to
outdoor temperatures before starting to
clear snow.
c). Do not clear snow across the face of
slopes. Exercise extreme caution when
changing direction on slopes. Do not
attempt to clear steep slopes.
d). Do not overload the product capacity
by attempting to clear snow at too fast
a rate.
e). Never operate the product at high
transport speeds on slippery surfaces.
Use care when reversing.

To reduce the impact of noise and vibration
emission, limit the time of operation, use
low-vibration and low-noise operating
modes as well as wear personal protective
equipment.
Take the following points into account to
minimize the vibration and noise exposure
risks:
a). Only use the product as intended by its
design and these instructions.
b). Ensure that the product is in good
condition and well maintained.
c). Use correct application tools for the
product and ensure they in good
condition.
d). Keep tight grip on the handles/gripping
surface.
