3. Remove dust or dirt from the turn table surface of the spindle motor with a cleaning cloth (or cotton swab) moistened
with cleaning fluid.

Check that no fiber of the cleaning cloth (or cotton swab) is left on the spindle motor after cleaning.

Cleaning after Operation in Special Environment

After the unit has been used in a seaside, sandy place, humid place, or dusty place, perform the following procedure.
Note
Do not touch the part (slide shaft) to which oil is applied in the drive during cleaning.
If oil adheres to the cleaning cloth, replace it with new one.
If a cleaning cloth with oil is used, the oil may adhere to unnecessary parts.
Tools
• Vacuum cleaner
• Cleaning cloth (or cotton swab)
• Cleaning fluid (alcohol)
Procedure
1. Clean the connectors on the rear of the unit.
