Cleaning
To maximize the functions and performance of the unit and extend the lifetime of the unit and cartridge, carry out
cleaning as routine maintenance.

General Information for Cleaning Using Cleaning Cloth
Note
• Before cleaning the unit, be sure to turn off the power switch and unplug the power cable from the DC power input
connector.
• Each block in the drive consists of precision parts and has been accurately adjusted. Be very careful not to damage
or apply excessive force to such parts when cleaning each block.
• Before inserting the cartridge after cleaning, confirm that cleaning fluid has completely evaporated.

Note
The select loader assembly consists of precision parts. Be very careful not to damage or apply excessive force to such
parts when cleaning the loader assembly.
Tools
• Cleaning cloth (or cotton swab)
• Cleaning fluid (alcohol)

Clean the parts in the select loader assembly shown below with a cleaning cloth (or cotton swab) moistened with
cleaning fluid.
