Transporting and parking the device

To transport the device WITHOUT mounted carrier (excavator), you
drive with the forks of a carrier (e.g. wheel loader) into the fork
sleeves ④.
To secure the device against slipping off the forks, the following
must be observed:
-
- Generally tilt the forks backwards (in the direction of the
carrier),
-
- The forks can either be locked by means of locking screws,
which are inserted through a hole in the forks to be
provided,
-
- or forks by means of a chain or rope, around the device
(RVD-4,5-ECO) and around the fork carrier of the carrier
device.
When parking the device (RVD-4,5-ECO) WITHOUT mounted carrier on the floor, the following must be
observed:
the ground must be level, horizontal and sufficiently load-bearing,
both supporting feet must be swivelled outwards (Fig. 3-8) to ensure that the unit stands securely.
If this is not followed, there is a risk of the (RVD-4,5-ECO) DANGER OF ACCIDENTS tipping over!
