Installing the Display Before installation, keep the following points in mind: • The Planar UltraRes X Series displays are heavy. Be sure that the structure has adequate design to support the weight of each display to be mounted. • Be sure the structure the unit will be mounted to is sufficiently engineered to support the total weight of the display and any peripheral equipment that may be attached to the display.
The mount must be secured to the Planar UltraRes X Series display using the four M8- 1.25 VESA mounting locations, and 10mm -15mm thread engagement is required for secure mounting.
Installing the Optional Planar Profile Mounting System For Planar Profile kits, a template has been supplied in the kit to simplify installation of the Planar Profile components. If the template has been misplaced or lost, refer to the product outline drawing for pertinent dimensions on the location of the Planar Profile mount component locations.
Page 18
2. Using the dimensions on the template for the model being installed, mark the location of the upper-left mount position. 3. Install the left mount as indicated. The marked position is the location of the center hole on the mount. Planar UltraRes X Series User Manual Page | 18 020-1396-00A...
