7.3 Configure the log file
The configuration of the log file is explained below using the
example of a KTS ThermoBox as 2x cascade:
•
Open the log file with the name DAT in MS-EXCEL.
•
In Cell A1, state the intervals in which the values will
be saved. In this example, a storage rate of one second
is stipulated. If you want to save every 10 seconds, for
instance, replace the 1 with a 10.
As delivered:
Time interval changed to 10 seconds:
•
In the column under ModBus ID, select the corresponding
ThermoBox from which to read out the data.
•
Modbus ID 1 activates the master unit, and
•
with ModBus ID 2, the slave unit is activated.
With this configuration, all temperature values and volume flows
of both cascade units are saved. Additional values can also be
saved, or, if they are not necessary, they can be deleted.
The data points, register addresses and the related settings can
be taken from the KTS ModBus data-point list.
