Safety instructions for mounting, commissioning, function and maintenance
Mounting
Read this manual carefully before starting installation, and follow
the instructions! Always pass on this manual to the current system
owner and keep it in a safe place for future reference!

Installation and maintenance may only be carried
out by an electrical specialist.
Warning!
Priority must be given to the national standards and
provisions governing accident prevention.
Note!
Install the device solely in dry rooms. Ambient tempera-
tures in the mounting location > 40°C are prohibited.

Indented use
The ComLog module is intended solely for use in combination
with KEMPER KTS ThermoBoxes.
•
The ComLog module in combination with one or more KEM-
PER KTS ThermoBox(es) serves as the interface to upstream
building automation systems.
•
For that purpose, the ComLog module is linked with the bus
cable of the KTS controller units.
•
An additional ComLog module function is logging the sys-
tem data and the actual values. The ComLog module has an
SD card slot to accomplish that.
Flawless operation can only be guaranteed when the information
in these mounting instructions are taken into consideration.
