Note
Make sure that you do not damage
the transducer cable by tightening
the packing nipple too hard.
Simrad recommends that steel
conduit's diameter is according
to the diameter of cable gland's
bushing. The conduit must extend
to above the vessel's water line.

Cable gland for wooden and GRP hulls

A bronze cable gland kit can be made for wooden and GRP vessels.
