Assign the PC’s IP address into the same range as the encoder(s). By default, this will be in the 169.254.x.x range with a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0. Run the WyreStorm Management Suite and start the NetworkHD Console software. Hit the search button located at the top left of the Console. All available NetworkHD components along with their IP addresses will populate.
  • Page 36 Note: The WyreStorm Management Suite is only available on Windows OS. If using a Mac computer, network scanning software can be used to find encoders and their IP addresses. The NetworkHD Console is required if adjusting IP addresses. Choose an encoder from the list and note its IP address.
  • Page 37 Note: WyreStorm cannot guarantee all control systems support the decoding of NetworkHD MPEG preview stream. Contact the control system’s manufacturer for detailed information. Setting an encoder’s preview stream to its maximum values could overload the processor. This will cause severe video performance issues.
