Troubleshooting
SYMPTOM
PROBABLE CAUSE
ActiView Auto Measure not selected in Measure Mode.
Manual Measure Button not pressed when Measure Mode is set
to either ActiView Manual Measure or Manual Measure mode.
Device is outside the probe angle range (±15º)
Patient blinking while taking the measurement and Ocu-Dot
Probe not contacting the eye.
Will not take a
Ocu-Dot Probe not installed.

Bad Ocu-Dot Probe.
Dirty Probe Chamber.

Correct species is not selected.

CORRECTION
Select ActiView Auto Measure in Measure Mode.
Press the Manual Measure Button when the device is properly aligned.
Ensure the device is at the correct probe angle.
Have the patient focus on a focal point and retake the measurement.
Install a new Ocu-Dot Probe.
Install a new Ocu-Dot Probe.
Clean the Probe Chamber.
Replace the Probe Chamber.
Select the correct species in the Menu.
Do not press the Manual Measure Button when measuring in ActiView Auto Measure mode.
Change Measure Mode to ActiView Auto Measure.
Replace the Ocu-Dot Probe.
Device is operating correctly. Measurements greater than 99 mmHg will always appear in an orange circle.
Arrange for service through the Reichert Technical Support Group.
Turn Bluetooth on in the Menu.
Connect the Tono-Vera Vet to the PC. Refer to the Data Transfer section of this manual. Contact the Reichert
Technical Support Group for further troubleshooting.
Enable Bluetooth on the PC.
Install or update the Bluetooth driver on your PC.
Run the ReichertSync software.
Refer to the ReichertSync Instructions for Use to properly set up the Tono-Vera Vet. Contact the Reichert Technical
Support Group for further assistance.
